DJ Aphlatoon started it all in 1996 when he became the first Pakistani DJ to remix Pakistani songs. This New York based DJ released his second album by PakHits Records, titled "Shauq: The Remixes". After releasing the first Pakistani RnB Song "Judai", Dj released the first Pakistani Reggeaton song "Ishq Yankee Mix" featuring vocals by Rafaqat Ali Khan.
